Biography

Austin Gruber is a United States Air Force Logistics Readiness Officer. He has over 20 years of experience in command, joint, and strategic-level assignments across the Indo-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Air Force sustainment enterprise. Most recently, he served as Deputy Commander of the 309th Aircraft Maintenance Group. There, he led a 2,300-member organization responsible for depot maintenance and modification support across six major aircraft platforms.

His joint experience includes assignments at U.S. Central Command Headquarters. There, he supported operational planning and senior leader decision-making. In U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, he advanced theater posture initiatives to enhance deterrence and aligned partner capacity with U.S. strategic objectives in the Indo-Pacific region.

Austin holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, where he was a Distinguished Graduate with high distinction, and a Master of Science in Human Performance Technology from the University of West Florida.
