Rachael Madison

Rachael Madison (she/her) is CISAC’s Associate Director for Finance and Administration. She brings over 12 years of experience at Stanford University, primarily within the Doerr School of Sustainability, with roles spanning both academic departments and interdisciplinary initiatives. Her background includes student services, program management, and university-wide collaborations. Before joining CISAC, Rachael supported the Precourt Institute for Energy and the Sustainability Accelerator, where she played a key role in launching new fellowships and managing programs focused on global energy challenges. Rachael holds a bachelor’s degree from San José State University and a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco. She values interdisciplinary research and enjoys working with administrative teams to foster a collaborative and supportive environment. She is excited to contribute to CISAC’s mission of advancing research and collaboration on international security and cooperation.
