Biography

Neely Ann Haby earned her master’s in International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University on the National Security and Diplomacy track with concentrations in Intelligence and Military Affairs/Defense Policy. For her capstone, Neely led a small consulting team for USSPACEFORCE to assess China’s military competitive advantage over the United States in space. Neely currently works at United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) as an analyst. 

Neely’s research focuses on security dynamics in South Asia, specifically the relationship between India and China, and the impacts of water scarcity and climate change on security issues. During her fellowship, she will work with Dr. Arzan Tarapore, the South Asia Research Scholar from Stanford’s Center for International Security and Cooperation.
