Biography

Ken King is an attorney with over 30 years of experience specializing in defending and advising business clients, both inside and outside the U.S., in complex litigation in product liability matters. From 2022-23 Ken was a fellow in Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) program.

Prior to his DCI fellowship, Ken was involved in high-profile cases that have helped define U.S. product liability law and has represented pharmaceutical and medical device companies in numerous multi-party cases. During the course of his litigation work, Ken developed considerable expertise regarding upper-extremity disorders and is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Throughout his career, Ken has devoted considerable effort to pro bono and community service. He co-directs an award-winning program in New York Supreme Court, defending local residents in foreclosure cases. He has also served 30 years on the board, including 10 years as Chair, of Hands in 4 Youth, assisting underprivileged New York-area children.

Ken grew up in Franklin Square, New York. He earned his law degree from George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the Law Review. Ken received his BA from Dartmouth College, graduating cum laude with high distinction in History.
