Biography

Colonel Josh Glonek is an active duty Army officer who commissioned into the Infantry after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2003.  Josh has commanded units up to the Battalion-level and has served in a variety of staff positions in both tactical units and at the Pentagon.  Over the course of his 20-year career, Josh has participated in four combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.  After earning a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago in 2012, he served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at West Point.  Josh later became the Speechwriter to the Secretary of the Army, and then, Chief Speechwriter to the Secretary of Defense.  Most recently, Josh served as a Division Operations Officer while forward deployed to Eastern Europe, where he planned and managed operations to support European partners and allies and deter further Russian aggression.
