Sidra Hamidi

Sidra Hamidi is an Assistant Professor at Trinity College, Hartford. Her research is on nuclear politics, international law, and global governance. Her book, After Fission: Recognition and Contestation in the Atomic Age, explores the socially-constructed nature of nuclear status and the politics of recognition in the nuclear programs of Israel, India, Iran, and North Korea. Her work has been published in the European Journal of International Relations and International Affairs. She is also the co-recipient of the 2021 Doreen and Jim McElvany Nonproliferation Grand Prize for excellent scholarship published in the Nonproliferation Review.
