Timothy R. Mungie

Bio

Lieutenant Colonel (Promotable) Timothy R. Mungie has served over 21 years on Active Duty in the United States Army. He is a combat veteran of multiple tours in Iraq, has held key command and staff positions in divisional units, and most recently served as the Division Operations Officer (G3) for the 2nd Infantry Division stationed in South Korea. LTC(P) Mungie attended ROTC at San Diego State University, where he earned a his commission as Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery and a B.S. in Business Administration (Management) in 1997. He later earned an M.A. in Management from Webster University, graduated from the Canadian Forces Command and Staff Program, and earned an M.S. in Advanced Military Studies through the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) at the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. LTC(P) Mungie is scheduled to take command of the 1st Infantry Division Artillery (DIVARTY), Fort Riley, Kansas, at the conclusion of the fellowship program.
