A team of Stanford globe-trotters traveled to Rwanda in May with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The team, which included a Stanford design student, an architect and CISAC's Liz Gardner, traveled across Rwanda for a week to learn about UNHCR's operations and what life is like for refugees and the communities that host them.

The trip stemmed from the Stanford-UNHCR Project on Rethinking Refugee Communities. Learn more about the project and the lives of refugees through this multimedia journal.
