Admiral Samuel J. Locklear III, the commander of U.S. Pacific Command, visited Stanford on Nov. 21, 2014, and delivered the speech, "The Future of the Asia-Pacific."
The event was hosted by the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center and the Center for International Security and Cooperation, both in the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. It was part of the Contemporary Asia Seminar Series.
